Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as an exercise physiotherapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas in a long time and quickly relocated to Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various acting roles, including commercials and local film productions. Despite her small roles, she discovered her passion for acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she got her first part on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. The actress had a few roles on JAG and Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004, she got her first series-wide role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Her next role was on the brief-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. In 2008 she received an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Deko as the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. She was Doctor. Lena Solis in NBC's Dark drama Do No Harm. After two episodes the series was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is from Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. The family she was raised in was an exceptionally religious and conservative family. Milano was able to begin her career in the age of seven when her childsitter took her to an audition in the acting field. Her audition was among over 1000 applicants. The audition panel selected her to be one of the four girls. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and her role in the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
